LiveSign® DIGITAL SIGNAGE - Options

Option 1: Console + LMU + LSU(s) Variable onscreen content and/or remotely located screens


The Master (Server) Display can show all room and event information, the Slave (Local) displays can show only what relates to a particular room and for example incorporate a Video Display relevant to the room. Messages/Sounds & Alarms can be displayed on all screens when activated from a central console. The system is programmed and controlled using a web interface. The Console is a network enabled device with a web browser (e.g. a laptop or PC). The Console may be located on the Local Area Network or Intranet or remotely via the Wide Area Network/Internet. "Local" displays can be programmed to act as a repeater of the Master display, Local Display, Local display with Multimedia in 4:3 or 16:9 formats. "Local" screens may be connected on the Local Area Network/Intranet or for example to separate buildings via the Wide Area Network/Internet. Event information can be automatically downloaded from an existing booking system or spreadsheet (contact Hillbrow for further information).
Option 2: Console + LMU Identical onscreen content and/or closely located screens. Display can show all room and event information. Messages/Sounds & Alarms can be displayed on all screens when activated from a central console. The system is programmed and controlled using a web interface. The Console is a network enabled device with a web browser (e.g. a laptop or PC). The Console may be located on the Local Area Network or Intranet or remotely via the Wide Area Network/Internet. Event information can be automatically downloaded from an existing booking system or spreadsheet (contact Hillbrow for further information).



Network Display Option: The LiveSign system incorporates an option to view the Master Display via a wireless access point or existing network. Users can view timetable and events from their own laptop or mobile device.

LCD is recommended to prevent "burn on" because of the static nature of the display.

LCD sizes and information
Wide screen format - suggested minimum size is 26". Optimum size will depend on where the display is mounted and how far away the person viewing the display would normally stand - please contact Hillbrow for advice and installation.
